Hello!

I'm Steve (or Stephen to my Mother, or if I've been naughty!) I've been in the design and print industry from the age of 16 as a wet behind the ears apprentice.

Over the last 30 years or so I've built a diverse knowledge from design agencies, magazine and newspaper publishing, web design agencies to signage and commercial printers. In 2022 I decided it was time to apply my wealth of knowledge to my own venture Engage Creative. Here we are now, never looking back, and absolutely loving what we do!

When I'm not sat behind my Apple Mac, or navigating our engage journey, I'm a proud Father to two young budding creatives who are constantly asking me for scrap paper for their drawings!

To keep up with my youngsters and to stay focussed I enjoy running, cycling, gym weight training, and peak walking. I also enjoy a craft beer or two!

I'm not a massive fan of footie or sport, my passion has always been cars! in fact its more a 'petrol fuelled obsession', particularly Toyota MR2s! I've owned 15 of them, I currently own a much cherished 94 JDM Turbo version that I've lovingly restored and modified over the last few years. When leisure time permits we are owners club members and take it to meets and shows.

As a complete polar opposite in 2019 we made a purchase, something I said I'd never buy as a car fanatic that enjoys the open road in a sports car.... a touring caravan! - despite a few teething problems (mainly navigational) we took to it like 'ducks to water' and its become our favourite family down time, creating memories. I like nothing more than pitching up overlooking a coastal view, manning the barbecue, tongues and beer in hand watching the sunsets the UK has to offer!

Back to business, we've only just scratched the surface of what we're capable of here at Engage, and we pride ourselves in how far we've come in such a short time, lots of growth plans on the horizon, watch this space!
